BORGOFUTURO SOCIAL CAMP #5
SCHEDULED ACTIVITIES
[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”16px”][vc_column_text]We launched a call to co-create the programme of Social Camp #5 with the virtual and temporary community that populates it every year. Referring to the theme of being – not being, the proposed activities address issues of living in different ways. Below are the individual workshops:[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row section_top_margin=”notopmargin” section_bottom_margin=”nobottommargin” section_background=”color” background_color=”#feff7b”][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text css_animation=”right-to-left”]1. ODO-ODI-ODE
Sound walk with Futuro Arcaico
A ‘sound walk’ to focus on the sounds of nature by creating a moment of silent active listening, to create a temporal connection between present, past and possible future visions. The walk involves identifying listening points, so as to produce field recordings that act as a ‘sound map’ of the environment.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”22px”][vc_column_text css_animation=”right-to-left”]2. Future Writing Workshop
Collective writing workshop with Federica Fantini, Thibaud Valade et Chloé Odent
We invite you on a space-time journey, a moment out of time, or better a moment of projection into the future. Using collective writing techniques and through the intervention of our imagination, we will take a step back from the reflections and exchanges taking place at the camp. In small groups, we will produce different written forms on the topics addressed at the camp. The texts will be recorded and/or performed during the final event on Saturday.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”22px”][vc_column_text css_animation=”right-to-left”]3. MANTRA-MARCHE
Harmonic singing workshop with Ldgu
After having approached, last December, this very unique way of using one’s phonatory apparatus with Moni Ovadia, and after having learnt its fundamentals with Roberto Laneri (founder of Prima Materia and one of the greatest experts in the West), Ldgu will propose an intensive one-day workshop with theoretical lessons and practice moments.
The aim is to provide participants with the tools to embrace a practice that, if desired, could accompany us for a lifetime.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”22px”][vc_column_text css_animation=”right-to-left”]4. Danzamovimentoterapia
Expressive-relational workshop with Margherita Conte
To inhabit is to become aware of the self, to inhabit is to weave a dense mesh of relationships, indispensable for the creation of a cohesive territorial community. Dance-movement therapy not only allows us to consciously inhabit the place where we find ourselves, but also enables us to inhabit the body, space, time and relationships through a profound and collective playful-creative experience. Dance is a fundamental therapeutic factor that allows the body to create through relationship and expressive communication.
The workshop aims at soliciting the imaginative function, establishing a social scenario, offering an experience of pleasure and aesthetic research, activating motivational resources and conveying the flow of emotions on the choreographic process and the artistic product.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”22px”][vc_column_text css_animation=”right-to-left”]5. “Entramando”: Corpo Collettivo RiSonante
Creative music workshop with Melisa Galluzzo
What if art was a space, a meeting point? How can we find ourselves in a wonderful place called art? The workshop will aim to facilitate the inhabitation of the creative channel of music, play, emotions and pleasure. It will encourage meeting in a place-art of and for allə, where the body-voice, individual and collective, can be connected, starting from a place of welcome, respect and love, trying to avoid judgment.
We will practise observation and active listening, inward and outward, listening to the beat, flowing in movement accompanied by Latin American rhythms, practising presence.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”22px”][vc_column_text css_animation=”right-to-left”]6. Tetralia: A Search For Wholeness In Communities
Dance and architecture workshop with Gizem Akman, Lorenzo Malloni
When individuals create a community, connections are constantly generated and disrupted in continuous cycles attempting to find social balance and emotional harmony. Can this ever be reached? Tetralia is a performative investigation based on the tetrahedron as a symbolic modular element of community construction, as the metaphorical representation of an individual being in an interconnected group. The uniqueness of the individual behaviours and the movements of the attendants will be our challenging point in the idea of creating a community set against the tetrahedral non-unique shapes.
As a performative act Tetralia will indeed aim towards the construction of one Tetrahedron resulting from the assembling of many. A monument to a wholeness that perfectly resembles the singularities from which it is composed. A united collective identity mirroring multiple individual identities.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”22px”][vc_column_text css_animation=”right-to-left”]7. ATSeCo – Agenzia Temporary Collective Services Agency
Workshop with Norma Nardi
What connects members of a community? What kind of infrastructures emerge when spaces, resources, needs are shared? How visible are the work and contributions of those who make these infrastructures work?
With this workshop, we explore the idea of community service as the glue for relationships and the smooth functioning of life in common. Gathered as ATSeCO workers, we will imagine and realise a temporary ad hoc service (functional, poetic, utopian, we will decide) to be put into practice during the Camp days.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”22px”][vc_column_text css_animation=”right-to-left”]8. Experimentation of the color of wild plants
Tinctorial workshop with Marie van de Walle
Workshop around the tinctorial powers of wild plants. The main aim of this workshop is to intensify our relationships with the living through an experimental approach.
Participants will first be involved in an exploratory walk to engage with the territory and its flora through moments of identification and picking of wild plants. Then, they will be driven into the discovery of wild tinctorial plants and into experimenting different printing techniques (e.g. vegetable dyes, ecoprint or hammering).[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”22px”][vc_column_text css_animation=”right-to-left”]9. The body as territory and territory as body
Cartographic and body workshop with Federica Giunta
Bodily cartography as an individual and collective tool for r-existence What happens if we connect our body, our physical and emotional presence with the territories we inhabit? How many times have we included in these geographies the bodies we have encountered and crossed, our own bodies?
The idea of this workshop is precisely to dwell on our body, to put it back at the centre and make it present in the territory, whether emotional or geographical. We will do this through corporeal geography, the representation of a body-territory where we project injustices, environmental crimes, but also feelings and belonging.
As inhabitants of territories we constitute our bodies in the complex relationship between self-image, normative cultural restrictions and social contexts: this laboratoria proposes to create an opportunity to recover embodied languages and prevent the body-territory from being silenced, manifesting it in all its strength and vulnerability, in an act of care and collective presence.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”22px”][vc_column_text css_animation=”right-to-left”]10. Percussions Workshop
with Peppe Leone
A drummer, musti/instrumentalist, composer and arranger, Peppe Leone has studied popular music, Middle Eastern percussion and tambourine, building his own modern and unprecendented style. At the fifth edition of the Social Camp, he offers a percussion workshop open to all levels of experience.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”22px”][vc_btn title=”Back to the registration” color=”inverse” align=”center” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fborgofuturo.net%2Fsocialcamp_5%2F|title:Social%20Camp|”][vc_empty_space height=”22px”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]
