Socialcamp 2018

Il Borgofuturo Social Camp torna quest’anno da venerdì 6 a domenica 8 luglio a Ripe San Ginesio (MC).

Ci ritroveremo, tenda in mano, per confrontarci e immaginare una società più equa, creativa e sostenibile. Insieme ad accademici, attiviste e semplici appassionati, tre tematiche si intrecceranno tramite tavoli di lavoro e laboratori:

A) Decolonizzazione dell’immaginario
Il percorso presenta una serie di incontri su nuovi e vecchi colonialismi e le loro conseguenze sul nostro modo di vivere insieme. Rovesceremo l’immagine del mondo proponendo punti di vista di soggetti non appartenenti al modello “ideale” dell’uomo bianco-occidentale.

B) Economia circolare
Quello dalla linearità alla circolarità è un passaggio fondamentale nell’immaginazione di un futuro sostenibile. Il social camp propone una trattazione della temarica che parta dalle analisi LCA fino al concetto di smart city. Con due laboratori di upcycling daremo nuova vita a materiali di scarto prodotti nel quotidiano.

C) Comunità in transizione # 2: Educazione libertaria
Il percorso “comunitario” si focalizza quest’anno sul metodo pedagogico di Paulo Freire e le sue applicazioni proposte nelle scuole di educazione libertaria. Con docenti ed educatrici parleremo dell’orizzontalità dell’approccio e del modello di comunità che le scuole hanno negli anni creato. All’interno anche un laboratorio del pane e una sessione di meditazione al wabisabi di San Ginesio.

Workshop di animazione stop-motion nello spazio bimbi, yoga mattutino dispensatore di good vibes ed altri due laboratori di spessore: Suoni balli e narrazioni dell’appennino con Massimiliano Di Carlo e Francesca Camilla D’Amico e un laboratorio di architettura interpretativa per il borgo di Ripe San Ginesio.

The Borgofuturo Social Camp comes back this year from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th of July in Ripe San Ginesio (MC).

We will find each other, with tents in our hands, for imagining a more fair, creative and sustainable society. Together with academics, activists and simple enthusiasts, three themes will be investigated through lectures and laboratories:

A) Decolonization of the imaginary
The path presents a series of meetings on new and old colonialisms and their consequences on our way of living together. We will question the dominant image of the world by proposing points of views not belonging to the “ideal” model of the white-western man.

B) Circular economy
The step from linearity to circularity is fundamental in the imagination of a sustainable future. The social camp offers a discussion of the theme starting from LCA analysis to the smart city concept. Two upcycling laboratories will regenerate waste materials produced in the everyday life of Ripe San Ginesio.

C) Community in transition # 2: Libertarian education
The “communitarian” path focuses this year on the pedagogical method of Paulo Freire and its applications proposed in schools of libertarian education. With teachers and educators we will talk about horizontal approaches and the models of community that the schools have created over the years. Moreover, there will be a workshop on bread baking and a meditation session at the wabisabi centre in San Ginesio.

Extra Labs
Stop-motion animation workshop in the children’s area, morning yoga for good vibes and two other laboratories: “Sounds, dances and narrations of the Apennines” with Massimiliano Di Carlo and Francesca Camilla D’Amico and a workshop of interpretive architecture for the village of Ripe San Ginesio.
